About Michael Martin
I am a Sales Manager at Prospect Mortgage in Raleigh, North Carolina. I originally grew up in Alexandria, VA but moved to Sunset Beach in 1990. I attended East Carolina University and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
While I have been in the finance side of real estate for over 8 years, my parents are on the sales and development end of the business. My father had a successful architectural firm in Old Town, Alexandria and my mother was a top producer in the real estate business in Virginia and at the coast in Sunset Beach, North Carolina.
I have won several awards since beginning my career in the mortgage industry in 2002 when I won “Rookie of the Year.” I was fortunate enough to be named “Top Producer” before I began to learn more about my passion to lead people and got into Sales Management. In 2008 and 2009 I was a President’s Club award winner during an unprecedented time in our industry. Today, I am able to follow both passions of working directly with clients and leading a sales team to the places that they desire to go by introducing “The Martin Mortgage Group” within Prospect Mortgage.
I am proud to be working with Tom Deadmore, Team Loan Officer and wife Tonya Martin as Team Loan Coordinator. We have taken the time to put systems in place to offer the best possible customer experience for our clients. We know that it takes a great experience from our current clients to deliver referrals from our past clients.
Currently, I live in Raleigh with my wife of five years Tonya, new baby girl Finley and their dog Maggie.
