With nearly 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, David Samara brings a strong knowledge base to his role as a producing Branch Manager. In addition to achieving Diamond-Level personal production at Prospect Mortgage, he manages a team of Loan Officers and is heavily involved in the real estate community. He joined the industry after his own experience with buying a home at a good rate, and knew he wanted to help homebuyers have the same experience in achieving homeownership.

His focus is on purchase business and providing the highest level of service to his clients and partners. His branch continues to grow inside local Massachusetts communities such as Boylston, Shrewsbury, Westborough and beyond.

David is a true New Englander who grew up and resides back in Shrewsbury, MA. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys coaching local youth hockey programs.  He gives his loyalty to the Boston Bruins, New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.  David is a proud Marine Corp veteran that enjoys helping other veterans through charities and in obtaining homeownership through VA loans.

David is certified in 203(k) Renovation Lending, a program particularly well suited for buyers of fixer-uppers and REOs in need of repair. Homebuyers can finance both the purchase and future repairs on their new home with one loan.

The Renovation Loan offers some great features. The amount of money you are permitted to borrow for the purchase and renovations is based on the increased value of your home after improvements are made1. Also, because renovation costs are spread throughout the entire term of the loan, monthly payments are often lower than other financing options. With the loan, there is also no need to delay improvements. You can start in immediately after closing. Another great feature is the loan's simplicity - one application, one set of fees and closing costs, one closing to attend and one payment each month. The interest on the cost of your improvements, included in your mortgage, may be tax deductible2 as well.
